Raňajky ďalej od ubytovania a nenajedli sme sa z ponúknutej možnosti. Check out bol o 10 tej a ranajky v nedelu od 10tej, hoci sme sa dohodli ze donesieme po ranajkách klúče aj odídeme, ale boli sme aj tak v strese či to stihneme.

A bit of coordination initially to get to the property due to the road, but the owner was wonderful at making it easy, and other taxis had no problem getting there after my initial attempt.

"This is my second time staying at Mei Place and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The staff is super sweet, the rooms are cleaned every day. It’s very spacious and has a beautiful garden and rooftop with a pool. There’s even room to store food and drinks in the fridges and depending on which accommodation you book there’s even kitchens that you can use. It’s also located close to nyali center and the beach and a lot of nice restaurants! Well worth the price and I’d always recommend staying here."

On my last sleep of the week I was disturbed by the above resident, moving furniture and banging in the early hours of my departure day. Also just before 3am, being woken up by my TV having it on a different channel to what I had when I turned it off before going to bed believing someone had trespassed into the property and the thought of my belongings being stolen.

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

The road condition to the Apartment

"We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!"

The fairly stiff walk back from the village is fine as long as you don't rush. The Castara Retreats Restaurant serves lovely fresh fish caught locally but wine as you might expect is eye wateringly expensive. Try Stag beer instead and even that is twice as expensive as in the village.

"Borel is exception in my opinion, i have visited the property two times and enjoyed my stay each time. The location is perfect if you are looking for a place to rest, privacy, good security and comfort. Bonamousadi market is not far from the residence, very easy to get into the city if you want to."

From my experience, alot has improved. The internet speed is far better, reaction time for is very good, and the staffs are true human in their interaction with me. I think they have mastered the act of hospitality. I will visit again in my next trip.

Also the food at the restaurant below my room had very delicious food, also from the balcony of the restaurant I enjoyed the ocean view and beautiful sunsets. I do not really have any complaints about anything, because all of my wishes have been granted during my stay. So I have nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work and service! Everything was just perfect!

Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street, both just minutes away, with their many choices for food and drinks, are great for both lunch and dinner. As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

Die Koffer zwei Etagen nach unten und wieder hochtragen. Obwohl es auch toll war von der Terrasse aus gleich nach draußen zu können.

"The appartement was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and what can I say about the view!!! Exceptional, extraordinary, incredible!!! The bed was soooo comfortable it was a joy to snuggle it at night. Yolanda was our contact and she was very helpful, always available to answer our questions, to give explication and help us in our fabulous trip in Cusco!😍 Thanks so much Yolanda! On top of it all, we had Michi the cat, strolling around the lush yard that we could pet!!😻 I would definitely return to Quinua Boutique! I strrrrrongly recommend!"

The room is perfect for friends to relax and unwind after days of intense underwater activities. They offer car rental, which is a better offer than other companies. "Very good value apartment sooo close to the gondola. Very comfortable for the two of us. We were able to extend our stay by an extra night to take advantage of great skiing conditions rather than leaving the room and packing up our stuff. Dominic was super helpful and efficient in organising this for us. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. Televisions in both lounge and bedroom and large ones too. Parking though it costs each day is a bonus - parking underground when cars were getting buried in the snow outside was fab! Looking at the prices of other places whilst Encamp is not the most buzzing place this aparthotel is definitely value for money."

Our room had a very small kitchenette as the stairs took away part of the apartment so would choose a different apartment next time. Not a criticism but an addition to what would be helpful to guests include: hooks on doors as the only hooks were in the bathroom and we really needed to hang up our wet ski gear! Also some notes advising guests of facilities eg how the rubbish system works with the different coloured bags and bins and if staying for a few days the rubbish containers in the apartment are too small, maybe a little more cutlery would be nice. Aparthotel can't do anything about it but please manager be aware that the police are starting to man the traffic very early and like blowing their whistles all the time from about 7.30!
