"Easy location, superb terrace to laze around, easy going, nice staff"

some rooms dont have window and that really does not work for me. They were very acvommodating and let us pick another room.

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"The location was very convenient for walking around town and to local restaurants and the beach."

While advertised as a B&B it is not like the many B&Bs we have visited over the years where you have access to a lounge and receive a full breakfast. The accommodations are really a bedroom and bathroom with a small eating area on the bottom floor of a row house unit. There was a patio outdoors which was nice but overall the space was small and the breakfast was a continental breakfast you made yourself.

"Superb experience at Camping Mittagsspitze. Lovely little bungalow perfect for our needs with good, clean facilities. Pool was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed by my 8 year old. Location is fantastic by the mountains; really amazing views. Would stay again. Thanks!"

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

No kitchen no dinner available on the 2 nights I was there taxi to nearest good restaurant 15 usd return Would be best to have a car you can reach some places on local bus but very few on sunday

"We liked the quiet, simple place which was was we needed for 1 night."

Luckily there was some parking available on the street, otherwise we might have a problem. No dedicated parking for the hotel.

"Warm welcome of Isabelle and familie. Perfect weekend get away. Quiet, calm....time to relax. Lovely service and great breakfast. Surrounded by cute dogs. Unfortunately we didn't had enough time to enjoy the garden and pool, but definitely coming back. Thank you for everything. Daniela & family"

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Mali sme peknú a čistú izbu, dostatočne teplú, všetko fungovalo - TV, chladnička, atď. Lokalita je pokojná, má výbornú prístup k MHD, treba započítať tých 20-30 min a bezproblémovo dostanete do centra. Pani domáca nám všetko vysvetlila, takže nie je žiadny problém, že je trochu ďaleko. Parkovanie síce na ulici, ale tiež sme nemali žiadny problém s tým. Určite odporpúčam."

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"This place and it's owner offer truly valuable experience, it is very quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to the nature, snorkeling beach, horses. Owner is very communicative, helpful, open-minded person. I can highly recommend the breakfast. If you don't like all inclusive monsters and want to place that has 'soul' it is for you. We'd love to get back to this place."

Everything was great.

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"
