Convenient location to walk into town but be aware it's classed as outside the main town for many tour / shuttle collections. They will normally pick up but you need to check / agree it with the operator to make sure."

"Fan didn't work in bathroom and water dripped onto you from an overhead pipe - not sure if it was clean or waste water? The room was divided into 2 areas and with that layout it was difficult to cool one area - the aircon didn't really reach it."

"The host was so helpful and provided us with lots of useful information, including helping us to arrange a tour. The room itself was clean and spacious. Good location - it is a few mins walk from the centre of town (you have to cross over a bridge). There is a fridge and microwave provided in the room."

"The room was large & had multiple hooks for hanging clothes as well as an armoir & chest of drawers so lots of places to put things, which was lacking in the other 3 places we stayed in. Large bathroom & shower with even a medicine cabinet. We had all our meals at the little restaurant downstairs since my friend was injured earlier on our trip & on crutches & food & service were very good. Good fans & ac kept the room comfortable. Loved the walls & decor"

"It was on a busy, noisy street so windows were sealed off to block noise. Water was provided but tasted very strongly of chlorine. We could not figure out how the TV worked- would have liked to get the news"

"Hosts Shawn and Regina are very responsive. Regina gave me tips on where we can go near downtown as we were in San Ignacio only for one day. We went to the Cahal Pech Ruins. She said to take a taxi US $5 to the ruins as uphill but walk down after the visit to the city center as it’s downhill. It was about a 25 minute walk. Clean place Few minutes walk across the bridge to center to restaurants and market. Below the bridge is a nice park by the river. I saw a family having a picnic and kids swimming in the river. River looks clean. San Ignacio has no trash scattered on the streets. They are respectful of their town. A/C, hot shower, microwave, tv, water kettle and ref are all working well. Filtered water to fill up your own bottle available for all guests. Such a welcome."

"I stayed in Room 4, and it was very spacious, clean, cozy, and felt just like a home stay. The room is very family-friendly, with bunk beds and a TV in one part of the room, and a large bed with another TV in a separate area. The room is well equipped with fans and an A/C unit, a mini refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, a couch, and plenty of storage for clothes. There is also a safety box for personal items, as well as tables and counters to eat and place food. The room also includes a lamp and lamp stand with drawers next to the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower has both hot and cold water. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel as you get value for your money! I will definitely return."
