"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!"

The location is misleading. The place is actually inside the beduiwen village which is crowded by animals and noise. My friend wasnt able to sleep. as for me it was not a problem.

Had a bit of unfinished look about the premises though the geodesic domes were great.

"It was cosy , clean and had all the requirements we needed , great bed nice warm cosy cabin .Great trips Nikol and James excellent northern light and husky walk the morning / definitely recommend super friendly guys and we got to see the lights."

Nothing much , staff that worked in the office could have been friendlier, like greet and show a interest when you come for breakfast, but not much more to mention . Great stay

"True "eco" experience. Can't remember when I was closer to the nature. You need to take a boat the get to the island. Stunning views from the restaurant. Quiet life. Friendly staff."

It's not a comfy city lifestyle. Hot water is prepared in advance and you need to notify the staff. There's also a small fee for that. But in general everything is affordable there. No WiFi of course, but you can ask for hotspot.

"We loved everything from the welcome drinks, the hut itself and design especially the outdoor shower. Breakfast was amazing and the location was very close to the various beaches and food."

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

The proximity and the 180-degree view of the sea, the unmatched decor items, fairy lights and stellar interior planning, the very small-but-important facility and comfort details that have been considered, the quaint and romantic area around the dome, the considerate and responsive hosts all come together to make this a true gem here in Latvia. It feels like the place is kept beautiful and tidy out of genuine care for the wellbeing and pleasure of the guests. The hot tub costs extra, but a hot tub with a direct view of the sea is another rarirty here that is well worth the money. Absolutely recommended without hesitation, and I wish the hosts the endurance to keep this up, as we will 100% be looking to come back to this corner of paradise!"

To be nitpicky, the tap water seems to have high iron content, hence some water discoloration and odor. Nevertheless, there is extra drinkable water provided so this is not an issue really.

"We stayed in a family room and really enjoyed this original experience which brought us closer to nature. Special mention to the beautiful and thoughtful decoration, particularly the garden. Carole and Jean-Yves are extremely friendly, make you feel at home straight away, and generously share tips and recommendations for your stay on the island. The facilities are not only functional but also particularly well designed for the guests' comfort."
