"Our stay was so great, the place is quite and in beautiful nature. It is run by such a nice woman and her sweet daughter, we felt very welcomed and it was great to be with them. The Housing is not luxurious, but that is not what we want, so we really enjoyed the stay"

"Perfect location- close to many shops/restaurants and easy to walk/cycle to other parts of Don Det We stayed in the newer part of the bungalows and they were absolutely spotless and right on the water so you could sit in the hammock and relax all day watching the boats go by The family who run the bungalows and so lovely and welcoming We were able to get lots of washing done by the family who run the bungalows and it came by clean, folded nicely and smelling amazing! You can buy beers and soft drinks from the hosts, and also exchange money We had a perfect stay here, we couldn’t fault it!"

"Lovely views over the river. Basic accommodation but clean and had everything we needed. Comfy and clean beds. They only had singles but the owner pushed them together to try to accommodate our needs of a double bed. About a 20min walk to the main bars and dock but you can hire bicycles for the day for 30.000 Kip and they also offer a pick up service from the dock. They also arranged a moped hire for the day, offered good rate currency rates and a morning fishing trip. Really lovely owners."

A little bit further from the dock but loads of shops and restaurants within walking distance and as mentioned before the bicycle hire so not a problem for us. Walls are thin so you can hear people moving around when they get up or come in at night.
