"The location is great, the facilities are good and confortable. Staff really helpful even though we arrived very late at night."

"It will be great to have mosquito nets, there's quite a few always in the house. Hot water was not the most reliable. For the parking, if you have a low car it will be quite difficult to park in the designated spot."

"Für kleinere Mahlzeiten war die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Besitzer*innen haben jederzeit schnell und freundlich auf Anfragen reagiert. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut."

"Die Lage befindet sich in einem Wohngebiet, dies war uns bewusst. Allerdings haben uns teilweise Hunde (explizit keine Straßenhunde) als Bedrohung wahrgenommen und uns lautstark verfolgt. Am Ankunftstag (einem Sonntag) fand ab Ankunft bist nachts um 3 Uhr ein sehr lautes Fest nebenan statt. An den anderen Tagen war es ruhiger."

"Staying with Pilar and Oswaldo was like being in your home away from home. They were so very kind, attentive, personable, and engaging. Oswaldo is a fantastic chef; I highly recommend asking for the local breakfast and eating lunch or dinner there to get his full range of delicious masterpieces. Pilar is a walking encyclopedia of Ecuadorian (and world) culture, history, and food; she shares incredibly interesting stories. Both were so lovely and I cannot wait to return. This is the perfect destination for a quiet getaway with the beautiful beach right across the beach."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel La Isla during our honeymoon. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. They kindly arranged taxis for us several times and were always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. The location is perfect — just steps away from the waterfront, and only a minute’s walk to where sea lions gather. Being able to see them so easily was an unforgettable experience. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The shower, lighting, and all facilities were excellent and well maintained. Everything worked perfectly, and we had no complaints at all. Breakfast was also delicious. I especially loved the pan de queso, and we enjoyed having plenty of fresh fruit every morning. It was the perfect way to start our days in the Galápagos. Thank you again to the entire team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We truly hope to return someday."
