"Our whole experience here, such a privilege to stay here. The breakfast was the best in all our travels. A calm and peaceful ambience. We bought food from a local supermarket which was excellent and a short walk away.We ate in the beautiful breakfast room of the chateau as it was chilly and showery outside."

"Comfortable and reasonably priced, historical 19th century b&b with loads of character such as art nouveau design throughout the castle and a wonderful park (including a lake) for relaxing walks. The b&b is run by very friendly hosts, who give -at the start of a nice breakfast- an enjoyable and interesting explanation of the chateau, its owners and its history. Breakfast is above standard with fresh pancakes, freshly baked baquettes, croissants, pain au chocolats, chocolate cakes and home made jams. Accompanied with fresh orange juice and a never ending coffee pot!"

"We were the only guests, they only rent out one room in the fall. So it felt very personal and luxurious. The room was spacious and had a bathtub, breakfast was very nice with home made jams. The terrain looked beautiful, old trees and a lot of little flowers."
"We had to call to get the gate code, that could have been in the email. We did not have a front door key so could not let ourselves in at night and also had to call for that. It was fine though, minor things."

"The villa exceeded all our expectations. Tastefully and comfortably furnished room as well as gorgeously designed and maintained garden with a swimming pool. Everything was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was spectacular. The view of the surroundings is breathtaking, and the villa is perfectly positioned for visiting the surrounding villages. The hosts were extremely kind and offered us very useful tips for tours. Thank you for everything"

The house was lovely, very comfortable and hosts really welcoming, keeping in touch when needed. WiFi great, facilities perfect for us 3 adults. Just 30 minutes drive to the ferry in Caen. We had a super weeks holiday."

"What a gem to find this gorgeous little yurt. Max the owner is super friendly and helpful. He made sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable including bringing us breakfast in a basket the next morning. The yurt is very secluded in bush with a fantastic cliff view nearby overlooking the lake below. It’s rustic with an outdoor shower and loo. Inside it’s comfy and clean. True glamping! My husband and I being walkers on the GR trail appreciated every aspect of this bush stay. Max helped us out the morning we left by driving us 6km to a nearby village so our days walk would be more manageable."

The room was big enough to get my wife’s wheelchair around. Typical B&B breakfast nice and basic it did include scrambled eggs and bacon. Yes we will book again"

"Loved the cottage and its facilities and layout. Just felt right. So peaceful Great location in quiet lane close to the centre of town, and a lovely outside seating area overlooking gardens. Superb nearby walk following the river down to the Beach. Lovely. Like a private track. We will be back. We've found our perfect bolthole."
