"Where do I start? I liked everything. The proprietor, the village, the tame chicken, the characterful house, the bedroom, the facilities, the pillows……the lady was lovely, charming, helped carry bags,"

"I recommend Gite Mido most highly, it’s faultless! We were welcomed warmly, to a charming traditional house with spotless modern amenities. The breakfast is superb and I m sure much of it is homemade. This place is a treasure."

"We had the whole of the top floor of this beautiful 1800's house to ourselves with a cosy bedroom, bathroom, with excellent shower, and separate toilet. The decorations are very tasteful and interesting. There were roses and honeysuckle from the garden in our room and on the breakfast table. Marie-Dominique, the owner was so welcoming and helpful; we felt very lucky to have found her. There is a fabulous boulangerie nearby where she buys the bread and croissants for breakfast which she serves with fruit, cereal, homemade yoghurt and jam. The area is full of birdlife and there are some lovely walks by the river, a tributary of the Loire."

"Absolut liebenswert diese Unterkunft. In einem altehrwürdigen Haus mit einem verwunschenen Garten inkl. Haus-Huhn. Die Hausherrin ist so nett. Kühles Bier zum Empfang erhalten. Das Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Crèpes, Joghurt, Fruchtsalat und Croissants war super. Ruhiges Dorf - es gibt nur ein Restaurant (le fils d‘O - sehr fein gegessen!). Hat aber einen kleinen Supermarkt mit allem, was es braucht."

"Finn and Vonne have created a little paradise in the foothills of the mountains, surrounded by nature and a stones throw from montbrun Les bains with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was 10/10 and they really go out there way to make sure everything is just right!"

"The apartment had everything we needed, from cooking equipment to plenty of towels, bed linen, cutlery, glassware, etc. and from a private parking space to a smart tv where we could log in to a streaming service and watch a tv show or two. Even soap, dish soap and washing machine tablets were provided. The host was very friendly, and we were able to communicate in our best French and his best German. We got a lovely bottle of wine from a neighbouring vineyard. For a light sleeper like me it’s nice that there are shutters in the main bedroom. The secondary bedroom also has blinders. There are plenty of restaurants and vineyards within walking distance. We absolutely recommend 3 Amsel. There are two bakeries within walking distance, which have good bread and pastries. There’s plenty to see and do in the area, such as trips to Colmar, Kaysersberg and Riquewihr. We very much enjoyed staying at Aux 6 Hirondelles."
