"Excellent breakfast, politely served and very good value for money"

"We booked a room with a balcony as stated in the Booking.com advice. There was no room with a balcony. It's possible that a mistranslation occurred as there was a terrasse downstairs. However, the owner and staff gave us a separate room with its own stairs and balcony. This was very welcome after a long, hot journey. The owner also arranged for us to have an evening meal at the restaurant next door which was excellent."

"L établissement est trés bien situé pour visiter le Lot, la Dordogne et la Corrèze en même temps. La literie est confortable. Parking à proximité. Juste la douche est une cabine préformée. Petit déjeuner copieux à 10 euros. La Direction est très sympathique."

"La patronne nous accueille chaleureusement et est aux petits soins pour ses convives- Le diner de la veille au soir ( entrée/ plat /dessert en menu unique était délicieux , cuisiné par la maitresse de maison , comme à la maison ! + Un petit dejeuner copieux et frais dans un cadre cosy ! une chambre très charmante , bien équipée, wifi .. une bonne literie !"

"Excellent location, 200m to many of the central shops, close to transports and marina/beach. Hotel kitchen was sufficient for simple meals(self cook), kettle and fridge use. Clean utensils ready for use. Hotel is secure and tidy."

"The facility is excellent but poorly signposted and I had great problems finding it at night. I drove around the Bergerac region for three hours last night looking for it and drove past it several times before I called into.a McDonald's and asked on of the staff where the Ibis Hotel Bergerac was. As it turned out, the Ibis was virtually next door to the Maccas but there were no signposts on the main road going past to indicate its location. Also, when I rang to get assistance while driving around search for the hotel, the girl on duty had no English so she couldn't help me. Given that Ibis is an international brand and Bergerac is clearly a high profile destination for English speaking tourists, all front of house staff should be trained to talk reasonable English as a matter of course."
