"We arrived quite late but were greeted by the owner. Lovely man who showed us around. We knew we had picked the perfect place once we stepped inside the charming and well presented old barn. Farming implements adorned the walls and were part of the ambience. We were shown to our room upstairs. The smell reminded me of quality leather. A warm place. Inside the room was a huge bed with comfortable bedding. A large sofa was at one end with a small table. Plenty of lighting and cushions galore. The room had dolls and animals, there was a pair of old wooden skies and a sledge from yesteryear. All in all the room was a comfortable place to stay. The shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and traditional. Coffee was plentiful. A choice of breakfast was available. We were shown around the forge highlighting the old forge still visible in the living room downstairs. Overall I would definitely recommend this property."

"Le couple de propriétaire est très sympathique et nous reçoit en ami dans ce magnifique endroit qu est "la forge". Belle maison ancienne transformée avec goût pour en faire un havre de paix. Merci à eux pour cet agréable moment partagé, dans une région qui mérite d'être connue."

"La nuit que nous avons passé dans cet établissement a été très agréable. Accueil très sympathique, nuit au calme. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et récente. Il y a une cuisine si vous souhaitez diner. Je vous conseille le charcutier du village d'Allègre."
