"Denise was a charming and helpful host, and made us feel very much at home. The breakfast included many of her home made foods (jam, fruit juice, verveine tea) which kept us going all morning. We managed by using the local bus to Menton as we were travelling by train, but a car would be an advantage, given that there was nothing open at Castellar village. The views from our room were lovely, and we enjoyed evening picnics by the pool."

"We spent 11nights at L'Aleandra,Denise our hostess was exceptional,Her breakfasts were delicious and the facilities were spotless,great shower and balcony,handy private parking,Bus to Menton just outside of property, marvelous views of sea and Mountains and a very calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the coast,There are 2 hiking trails from the village with breathtaking views.We had an amazing, relaxing stay at L 'Aleandra,Thank you Denise for taking such good care of us you are truly the hostess with the mostess 😁"

"If à pont to mention; it’s the distance from the highway, some 10 km up narrow mountain roads. Late and dark nights might be stressful for seniors."

"The location is very convenient for the motorway. This could be a good stop for travellers. I had no problem with a late check in which is always appreciated. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. There was a useful desk in the room and lots of storage."

"L'agencement de l'appartement, la localisation, le calme de la résidence, la terrasse et la mer à proximité à 150m. Une très belle cuisine bien équipée juste manque un peu d'assiette et couverts. La possibilité de laisser les clefs dans la boîte aux lettres pour partir plutôt et le personnel de l'agence très professionnel et agréable. Super séjour nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!!!!"

"Fantastic site - think the cabins are a bit older but was very clean and beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was clean and we had a great swim. It was just a 10 minute walk into the village with an old castle. Good walks for dogs. We don’t eat in the restaurant but the food smelt fantastic!"
