"Large and airy apartment at the top of a traditional house overlooking a square. Once one climbs up the winding wooden stairs, there is a view, a living room, a small kitchen and a high-ceilinged bedroom. It was 38 degrees when we stayed. There is a restaurant directly below and it’s easy to walk to the main sights. We had a great stay overnight and time for le petit dejeuner and sight-seeing in the morning before heading further south."

"This beautiful apartment looks down on a pretty square and out over the rooftops of Le Puy. It's very spacious, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the bath was a bonus. The door codes were sent to us in advance so we didn't meet any staff"

"Great location, access goes via codes that you receive before hand. It is right at the city center between all the good restaurants. Room is very spacious with everything you need at hand. Very clean!"
"The shower head did not work, meaning that we had to use the tab. But that was not a problem for us."
"It was very quirky. Up five flights of worn, winding, wooden stairs lugging your bag then a large attic space with all mod cons. Comfortable with a great view, very central."

"The accommodation is in the eves of a traditional French country house accessed by electric gates just off the main road on the outskirts of the village. It was very comfortable and spacious with a separate kitchen area and bathroom. Our host was available on arrival and despite the language barrier we managed to communicate effectively. Parking is next to the building. Our host brought us a continental breakfast, fresh from the Boulangerie. Ideal for an overnight stop."

"Friendly host who was very helpful, cheerful and advised places to eat locally. We had a lovely breakdast with juice, coffee, tea, bread, croissants, and homemade jam. The fully fitted kitchen was rustic and had everything we needed, including a fridge to keep our own provisions cool. We enjoyed ditting in the courtyard with a glass of wine. Very friendly dog and cat 🐈 🐕"

"Very spacious room which had everything we needed (own enterance, big bed, own bathroom). The hostess is super nice and she made us breakfast with homemade crepes. We were staying here because we had a wedding at a nearby chateau. We did not explore the area."

"Helpful hosts and a useful quiet location in an old part of town near the Loire and all facilities. The house itself had all we needed for self-catering including a large fridge-freezer. Comfy beds and settee. Light airy rooms. Plenty of fans for hot weather and these were needed in the roof rooms, although in the evening with windows wide open, it did cool down enough to sleep. Ideal accommodation to use the shuttle bus to Chaumont-sur-Loire chateau and garden festival."

"Sehr schönes und vor allem großes Haus. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht im Alltag. Schöner Garten. Sains ist die perfekte Ausgangslage für Dinard, Saint Malo, den Mont Saint Michel, aber auch für wunderschöne Orte gleich um die Ecke wie Dol-de-Bretagne etc. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Die Gastgeberin ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, sehr diskret (sie wohnt nebenan) und schenkte uns gleich am Anfang Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten. Wir haben eine sehr schöne, entspannte und ruhige Woche dort verbracht!"
