"Der sehr charmante Gastgeber Christian empfing uns sehr herzlich, erzählte uns viel über die Geschichte seines wunderschönen filmreifen alten Hauses mit hohen Decken, über Mazamet und Umgebung. Uns gefiel es so gut, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt verlängerten und eine Woche blieben, es hätte auch noch länger sein können. Das Doppelzimmer im 2.OG ist sehr geräumig mit einem schönen Badezimmer, in der Küche kann man sich gut länger aufhalten. Mazamet eignet sich sehr gut für kleine Wanderungen bzw. Spaziergänge (montagne noire), es gibt einen gutes Bussystem für Tagesausflüge (u.a. kostenlose Busse nach Castres), Züge Richtung Toulouse und man kann auf einer ehemaligen Bahntrasse (Coulée verte) Radfahren (es gibt 2 Shops die Fahrräder verleihen). Zweimal in der Woche ist Markt in Mazamet, es gibt ein Kino und einige Restaurants und Cafés. Vielen Dank lieber Christian für die schöne Zeit, wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Le style ancien de la maison est réellement plaisant, de grands espaces comme j'aime ☺️ Christian à l'arrivée nous a fait une petite explication sur le vécu de la maison, très intéressant, très accueillant et très sympathique, on reviendra pour tester la passerelle avec le soleil 🤣"

"La Maison Alba est en elle-même un véritable voyage à travers une époque et l’histoire de la France. C’est une maison où l’on ressent un véritable goût pour la qualité de l’ancien; les meubles, les finitions d’origine, que Christian restaure et préserve avec un amour authentique. Christian est très aimable et attentionné. J’espère y revenir bientôt."

"Ce fut un plaisir de passer une nuit dans cette belle maison chargée d'histoire, située en plein centre de Mazamet. Notre chambre ( 2 eme étage) était très spacieuse (avec un charme un peu ancien), ainsi que notre salle de bain. Sur le même étage se trouvait une cuisine bien équipée à notre disposition. Notre hôte ( un guitariste chevronné) nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de générosité. Ce fut très agréable d'échanger avec lui. Nous vous recommandons cette maison d'hôtes sans hésiter."

"Fab location with all ski buses stopping outside the apartment and opposite the main bus transfer terminal too so easy transfer from Geneva airport. Lovely compact apartment with amazing mountain views. Warm & clean, friendly host, well equipped. Luggage storage available at the ski rental shop downstairs - very reasonable price & very friendly staff. The restaurant underneath the apartment block is also really good and there is a Spar a few minutes walk away (although the supermarkets in town are cheaper). Takes about 10-12 mins to walk into centre of Chamonix."
"Récemment rénové, tout est neuf. Spacieux, très propre, très bien équipé, très confortable, très calme, et idéalement placé à deux pas des thermes. Facile de se garer à proximité. Entrée dans les lieux très facile. Nous recommandons !"

"The house was really clean and very pretty. Heating worked with no problem, all facilities were well kept and well working. No major issues with any of the important stuff. Owner was very friendly and even if we did not meet in person he was always available through his contact number (he wrote in very good English). He also handled the trash disposal, which was rather specific, so that was also a great help."

"I really appreciated that the apartments were soundproofed and that the windows had black out blinds (as we have a young baby). The place was spotless and the pool was lightly heated (again very helpful for a baby). The staff (cleaners, reception staff, breakfast waiter) were very warm and accommodating."
"The location is perfect, close to cafés, cinema, bus and tramway stops. The apartment was spacious, clean, modern. I never heard the other people in the other apartments. It is my second stay and I would recommend to anyone. I loved that there was coffee, tea, sugar😊😊😊"
