"Maison Fernand is in a quiet street close to the centre of Bordeaux. The room was beautifully furnished with s comfortable bed and good shower. Very quiet. Close to trams to railway station. Good breakfast served in the communal kitchen. Very friendly staff. We would love to return here."

"Central location- very friendly helpful staff who kept in touch for everything. Top end appliances and touches. Breakfast all home made. Staff were accommodating with a lovely breakfast hamper left in our room when I had to have an early morning operation and didn’t return until midday."

"Very spacious room and bathroom. Rooftop bar overlooking a pretty square. Quiet street. Great central location- tram stop just around the corner so easy to get to the wine museum (a must see in Bordeaux). Lots of cafes etc nearby. Nice straightforward breakfast with fresh pastries etc. Our hosts Emilie and Kinga were very helpful. No lift so you need to be fit to stay here but we would definitely stay here again."

"L'emplacement (20min à pied de la gare, 10 min du centre ville). La petite terrasse très cosy, ensoleillée. Le confort, l'ensemble des équipements dont la climatisation bien appréciée. Un appartement spacieux, agréable à vivre. Et cerise sur le gâteau, Carine, notre hôte a été très à l'écoute et réactive sur toutes nos demandes. Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"We were so impressed with the location and our hosts Guy and Corine that it was really hard to leave on our way back home! They were very kind, helpful, gave us a lot of tips, recommendations, helped us find our way around the region. The breakfast was great, Guy made us very good fruit juces, their dog Judie was our kids' greatest joy. The pool was wonderful. For our family of 4 - we have two children of 7 and 8, it was really the Best place."

"The view! The spacious and airy rooms, tastefully decorated and lovely touches with robes, slippers and towels for pool. Although up on steep Hill, we liked being away from main area which is busy. Loved the fact that it had a pool to cool off in."
