"The property was well decorated, comfortable and just what we needed after a day’s driving. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. We stayed an extra day on our trip to the south and because we enjoyed it so much we stayed again on our return journey. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit and pastries. Hopefully we can visit again."

"Very easy to find. Had a great welcome from Dean and Jo on arrival and were shown to our fabulous room. We immediately felt at home with tea and coffee making facilities too. This was a welcome sight after a few hours in the car. We sat on the chairs provided at the front of our room listening to the birds and watching the red squirrels playing in the woods opposite by the river… sheer bliss! We both had a wonderful sleep, the bed, duvet and pillows were very comfy. The bathroom and shower are beautifully finished and were perfect for all our needs. We had a lovely continental breakfast that was delivered at the time we requested just outside the inner bedroom door. It set us up for the day nicely. On leaving Jo kindly showed us around the yoga studio and the back garden where further works are continuing to extend the chambre d’hôte business. A lovely stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay here for a lovely warm welcoming and comfortable stay."
