"Everything! Each room tastefully decorated in honour of famous people. Mine was an upgrade to Pablo. Nathalie and Dom could not do enough to make me feel literally at home. My chosen breakfast included scrambled eggs with truffle oil, fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt, jams, fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and baguette. Everything you need is there including wine, nibbles all included. Also included jacuzzi and rooms with jacuzzi baths! Lovely views from terrasse. Eating out is a bit limited so stock up from local supermarket and cook away in a lovely modern kitchen with a glass or 2 of lovely complimentary Tautavel, beer, teas and coffees! Top place top people 👏. A bientôt N&D!"

"Exceptional attention to detail in decor and room design. Beautiful and spacious room - Pablo. Plenty of space for relaxing on the terrace with wonderful views. Just the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in."

"The property is so stunning. Literally everything you can possibly ask for for a relaxing stay. The hosts, Dominique and Nathalie are so incredibly kind and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay will definitely be visiting again in the future x we do recommend hiring a car as the location is a local village so a car is needed for getting around. There’s still plenty to do nearby like lovely hikes a small museum and just roaming around the village."

"La simplicité, la courtoisie, l'échange humain très clairement on arrive la bas et nous ne sommes pas seulement des hôtes nous étions comme des anciens amis. Un petit dej parfait et reposant avec une vue à couper le souffle. De quoi se relaxer seul à deux entre amis.... Bref nous avons adoré ce weekend de A à Z."

"La Kanopée is situated in an old building, wooden floors, large windows on a quiet side street very near to the Hotel de Ville in Cherbourg. It is super cute, with lovely hints and decorations reminding us of the beauty and importance of nature itself. The bed is comfortable the shower lovely and the kitchen is well equipped and of course there's the egg hanging chair, gently swaying, bliss after a long day's travel. It's a shame I could only stay one night. I would love to return."

Silvie gave us a warm welcome both in terms of hospitality (breakfast, welcome entrée..) and in terms of excellent recommendations of places to see. I highly recommend her rooms."
"Really friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Set in a lovely tranquil town with on street parking or nearby car park within walking distance. Meals can be arranged with the host. We didn't take this up as had full days of activity planned. We slept with the windows open for a breeze, which meant we were woken daily at 7am by the local church bells, which added to the overall character. Beautifuly decorated, lovely relaxed stay."
