"Attractive stone façade, lovely welcome from Gina, spotlessly clean, good full choice breakfast, 2 chairs in room, heated ensuite tiled floor, fresh quality décor and fittings, house and room keys for easy access, no fuss, comfy beds, good lighting. Our room had sea / harbour view. What's not to like? Location: on front street with fairly open outlook facing harbour basins and promenade area. Short walk to delightful, friendly pub, Thorntree Inn, opposite. Attractive old fishing village. Can't fault anything - even managed to outside park at night."
"Absolutely nothing - a happy customer! Would recommend and visit again if required. Stair to upper floor room could be a little challenging for some (even older) folk."
"The room was very clean and cosy. Room was made up during stay and tea, milk,sugar and coffee replenished. Towels were changed daily. Toiletries were provided . Towels and flannel. Breakfast was amazing, a traditional Scottish breakfast. Plenty of cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Gina was a fantastic host."

"Lovely little B and B, room was exceptionally clean. Bathroom was well equipped and immaculate. Breakfast was fantastic!! Easy to get to Edinburgh on the No 26 bus, can’t wait to visit again. A lovely place to rest before the AC/DC show."

"We stayed for two nights at Anchorage B&B, about 25 minutes from Edinburgh, and it was an excellent experience. The bed was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Everything was spotless, and towels were changed daily. The room had a kettle with tea, as well as shampoo and a hairdryer—thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable. The hostess was charming and very friendly—happy to chat if you feel like talking—and she prepared me a delicious vegetarian version of a traditional Scottish breakfast. The place is wonderfully peaceful, perfect for getting away from the city. At night, you could only hear the distant call of seagulls, as there’s a small harbour nearby, which adds a special charm. Ideal if you have a car and want to enjoy the calm of the surroundings. Highly recommended!"
