"Fantastic find, huge room with lovely comfy bed, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities with biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge. Gorgeous setting, loads of parking, and to top it all off a fabulous breakfast, friendly staff and doggie heaven with off lead walks, what else could one and their pooches wish for. I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely place, we’ll definitely be back."

"Location is great for anyone looking to go for some peace and quiet, the menu while small had something for everyone and the food was fantastic, rooms were comfortable and spacious and clean and the staff were friendly, welcoming and super helpful"

Reece and Neil are responsive and nothing too much trouble. Even got a beautiful sunrise this time This was our 2nd stay here and we will be back again"

"Comfortable accommodation in accessible room 4 with roll in shower. The hosts, who were standing in for a week while the owners were away, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We ate a delightful breakfast each day and nothing was too much trouble. A shining example of “the customer comes first”. They opened the pool gladly on my request and, though the pool is small, the water was pleasantly warm."

"Tea and biscuits in the room could have been filled up more often. The driveway from the road is in desperate need of resurfacing."

"we had an excellent stay, the staff were amazing, the accommodation had everything we needed and more, the pool and hot tub area was beautiful and much needed after our bike ride around rutland water, food was excellent, looking forward to returning again soon"
