We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

The location is on 28 minute drive from Masjid e Nabawi. Taxi would be costly.

"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

"Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

"The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the TV worked well for relaxing in the evenings. The bed was fine and would consider returning."

Some noise from other guests at night did affect the stay a little. Still, overall a pleasant experience...

"中式早餐以稀飯為主食，另有吐司果醬可以選擇，豐富配菜及紅烏龍茶飲、鮮奶，吃到飽。 民宿最棒的就是提供洗衣機、烘乾機，讓出外多天的旅人可以清洗一些髒衣服，超方便的、大推；房間面窗可看到花東縱谷美景，距離鹿野高台車程10分鐘很近，地點絕佳，民宿還免費出借腳踏車可以漫遊鹿野，可惜這次來不及使用到。 入住前最擔心的吃飯問題，民宿附近有草仔粿、紅豆餅(下午)，晚餐可以吃附近路口轉彎處的猛爸爸快炒，或到鹿野車站旁吃合菜，都不踩雷、好吃。"

"We had a wonderful stay here. Christina and her husband are excellent hosts, very caring and go above and beyond. Beautiful garden with pool. We used it as a base to explore Peniche, Ericiera, Lisbon etc. It was like home from home, except for Christina's lovely home bakes! Thanks"

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

Tout était vraiment parfait. Si nous devons repartir en Guyane nous savons où aller.

Not very soundproof when people shower or watch Northern lights late at night. Bring earplugs when sensitive.

"The hosts are really helpful and very nice. It is so important to be able to get some help and tips, when you are travelling. What I really liked, was the breakfast, where all guests have the opportunity to meet. All of us really connected well and we had a fabulous old years eve together."
