"Charlie welcomed me very friendly and introduced me to the house and facilities. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Communication was absolute great and there was no issues at all. Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. Thanks Charlie for your great hospitality, I will definitely recommend 77 Tourist House!"

"The location sits on main public transit options; Bus stop, METRO station, and one street away a main connecting street offering additional public bus stops & connections. A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.

Bohužiaľ raňajky boli sklamaním, veľmi slabý výber.

"Ignore the previous negative comments. The whole place has been repainted and everything was amazing, especially the staff. The website is very useful, especially about transport from Cayenne to Georgetown or vice versa. Thank You 🙏"

All was Ok. If you don't like the heat, take an AC room as I did..

"Naozaj pekný a netradičný hostel s milým personálom, skvelým vybavením a dobrými raňajkami."

Nečakala som v noci taký hluk z Metelkovej, ktorý trval až do rána. Tým, že sme mali okná do štvrte, bolo to celkom intenzívne. Ale mohli sme s tým počítať.

"Bol som veľmi spokojný 😌čistota ,pokoj…v kuchynke bola k dispozícii aj káva a čaj,cukor. Detsky kútik na mňa urobil veľký dojem. Slečna na recepcii bola veľmi mila. S 10 bodov dávam 9👍"

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"There as such a warm welcome there. The owner of the hostel and the volunteers are great to talk with. They even showed me around the area, to find all necessary places. An extraordinary experience."

The City of Tiberias wasn´t very special, but its a great place to travel to other places from there.

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

The walls were thin and it was far from the center.

"Keďže som si vybrala na dovolenku november, v Schaane a Vaduze nebolo veľa turistov. Veľmi pozitívne hodnotím, že hoci som mala zdieľanú izbu, mala som ju celú pre seba. Personál bol veľmi milý a nápomocný. Zariadenie bolo čisté. Veľmi sa mi páčili spoločenské priestory, možnosť zahrať si spoločenské hry, interiér aj exteriér hostela bol veľmi upokojujúci. Určite odporúčam :))"

Na izbe bolo večer trochu chladnejšie.

"The host was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Hostel was close to the center. It was a pleasure to enjoy peacefulness here. Bed was good to sleep. "This place is simply fabulous - clean, quiet, cozy, everything works, in a great location near night market, mall, fast food etc, easily reachable by bus, yet, some rooms face forest. It's self check-in, all information is provided timely and clearly, communication is brilliant and any questions promptly answered. One of the best place to stay ever."

There is nothing not to like. But, as you need a code to enter your room, its probably not a good idea to rush to the toilet in the middle of the night, and forgetting phone with the code in the room 😊 (didn't happen, but could 🤣). Love it here...
