"Kate’s Rest as always is the perfect place to stay. Not too far away from the main motorway. It has well equipped kitchens, fresh linen and the rooms are spacious, plenty of hot water, comfy beds and pillows. There are also the basic essentials like tea, coffee, sugar milk etc... We have stayed there a few times now as it’s so peaceful and we will certainly come back again for sure. The hosts are always very friendly, welcoming and accommodating."

"A real home away from home, very comfortable with great kitchens and bathrooms, WiFi is brilliant and the place is very clean,Oliver is a real gentleman and there is plenty to eat in the breakfast room in the mornings along with plenty of tea and coffee, location is peaceful and in between Freshford and Urlingford which have nice local bars, takeaways and restaurants, all in all a great spot to spend a few days with family or friends."

"Beautiful accommodation. Highly recommended staying here. Everything you could need (apartment contained a new kitchen, hot showers and the rooms were so quiet, you dont hear other guests). Loved being close to Kilkenny but really enjoyed staying out in rural Ireland and being close to small farming communities. Felt like we got to experience the real Ireland."
