"The location was perfect, host was friendly and even offered to post some toys we left behind us and the house was next to a beautiful sandy beach and playground perfect for children."

"The grounds of the accommodation were incredible. The holiday was peaceful and relaxing. The beach nearby was lovely. There is a sense of artistry in the house we stayed in and of spirituality in the area surrounding. Views of Our Ladies Island were spectacular. An old pilgrimage site. A perfect holistic/artistic retreat and family holiday location! The host Geraldine was kind and friendly. A beautiful place."

"Lovely grounds. Host next door so really easy on keys and advice. Nice and warm. Milk in the fridge on arrival is always a nice touch and the host helped with taxi too - we would have struggled otherwise."
"Electric showers wouldn't get above warm one day but the next day they were fine. Disappointed that the Lobster Pot closed for the winter the week before we arrived. But that's not the porperty's fault."
"The cottage was comfortable and so much more spacious than we were expecting - there were spaces for members of a larger family to spread out or come together socially. The cottage was absolutely spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped - enough plates and cutlery to use even when the dishwasher was loaded up. My children adored the garden and alpacas. We found the atmosphere so serene and relaxing and 5 mins after arriving we were already planning our next trip. We enjoyed Carne beach nearby and the children loved the playground too - both just a 2 mins drive away. We did a trip to Saltee Island from Kilmore Quay and would recommend that also. We will definitely return and I would highly recommend this cottage."
"Nothing to complain about, we loved our stay! Just a little warning that there can be a lot of midges around at night so we couldn't open the bedroom windows when it was hot as many would come in drawn to the light - maybe having a repellent spray or plug or something might help."
