As for the location, it is very much aligned to places where we visited at the area. Ubers and Bolt should not have any problem finding the place by the roadside. My wife loved the book collection at their personal library so a good writer's retreat too."

We were content with the place. Everything was in working order right to the room, amenities at our convenience. So no complaints.

"Staying at this family-run hotel in Wadi Rum was a truly special experience. The owners' hospitality makes us feel instantly welcome. Our room was surprisingly spacious, a real treat considering the stunning desert landscape surrounding us. Waking up to that breathtaking sunrise view was an absolute highlight! Plus, the host organized a fantastic program that really allowed us to immerse ourselves in the magic of Wadi Rum. And let's not forget the dinner! The Beduin-style meal was absolutely delicious, a real taste of local flavors that perfectly complemented our desert adventure. The owner truly went above and beyond by organizing a fantastic program for us in the desert. It was a real highlight of our stay and a wonderful way to experience the beauty and culture of Wadi Rum."

While our stay had many highlights, it's worth noting that the hotel appears to still be under development. We observed some buildings that seemed to be in the early stages of construction and looked unfinished. Additionally, we encountered some water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit inconvenient.

"All was lovely, the food was particularly good and a pleasant surprise after some of the restaurants we had eaten at on our trip. The cottage was great, the linen very good, the swimming pool a great asset."

We would have liked to have been given sandwiches with the tea at 4pm. Slight disappointment!

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

"Tento malý hotel je vo veľmi peknom prostredí, všetky izby majú terasu s výhľadom na oceán a bazén. Pri bazéne ležadlá a slnečníky. Veľkosť izby je naozaj komfortná, dostatok úložného priestoru. Posteľ vysoká, mäkká. Chladnička väčšia, než je v hoteloch zvykom. Jedlo v reštaurácii výborné - raňajky sme mali v cene - boli dostačujúce - teplé, studené, slané, sladké, ovocie, zelenina... a boli sme aj na večeru - skvelé ryby. Celkovo - atmosféra príjemná, prostredie veľmi pokojné na oddych. Čo sa týka kúpania, odporúčame neďaleké pieskové pláže v Calhete."

Chýbali nám elektrické zásuvky na nabíjanie rôznej elektroniky.

"It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."

The bedroom and bathroom are huge—honestly, it’s one of the most spacious bathrooms I’ve ever seen, and the hydromassage tub was a fantastic bonus! It would be perfect for families . "The property has a natural look/ design - which I loved - simple but with everything you need. The bed was especially comfortable. And we were right on the beach so slept to the sound of the sea and woke up to drink our morning coffee looking out to the sea. Really comfy beach beds and great service for food and drinks. The staff so friendly and welcoming - a great atmosphere- peaceful, spacious, tranquil. You can walk along the beach to other bars or restaurants with a much more hectic vibe- it always felt like a blessing to return to Happy Corner. We felt very lucky to have found such a place- a slice of paradise!"
