"Hat eine super Poolanlage mit Schattenplätzen zum sitzen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen schmeckt gut. Die Zimmer sind gross, haben eine Klimaanlage und einen Deckenventilator. Das Gran Calao ist sehr kinderfreundlich."

"The host was adorable, very helpful and warm. The bed was comfortable, the area was very cute and peaceful. The dining room was cosy and well decorated. Last but not least, the breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh croissants!"

The shared bathroom could use a renovation (very basic shower with a shower head up on the wall) and the windows in the room were old and should be changed for better isolation. Also, you absolutely need a car as it's a bit far from the bus stop.

"The Pavillion Suite is lovely and has a wonderful view on the Lake Bienvenue. It is a generous size and feels like a small flat!"

The breakfast was not good at all - very messy, congested and the food quality was poor. The kitchenette would have benefited from a hob cooker so as to be able to cook meals as otherwise the suite was well equipped

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

it was not really easy to find because there were no signs or something like this, but all the business next to her were nice and immediately recognized that we were searching the hotel and they helped us.

We had a beautiful room with private bathroom, and shared access to a sitting room, kitchen facilities and terrace. It is self-catering, but the hosts will order bread to be delivered in the morning for you, or they’ll order a pizza delivery in the evening. There is an outdoor cafe/bar. The place is bustling, interesting and entertaining. Lamego is a beautiful city with many interesting buildings."

"I had a great stay. Since I arrived, the lady in reception was always present and helped me. I've parked the car in street. So nice to walk where you wish..and a + the swimming pool after melting myself outside.."

"Veľká priestranná izba, čisto, pekné spoločné priestory so stolmi, čajom, chladničkou… Príjemný personál. Voda na izbách, pohodlné postele. Super ubytovanie aj na dlhodobejší pobyt."

Jediné, čo by sa dalo vytknúť je chýbajúci zatemňovací záves na balkón.

"This is a small hotel in a superb location with colourful gardens and excellent views. The friendly and hard working staff were extremely helpful, and the owner Primus met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for a pre-arranged fee. This made our arrival so much easier and stress free. He also arranged car rental for us which was excellent value. There's a nice lounging area overlooking the bay, good for watching sunsets, and a refreshing pool. Home cooked food available lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed a most memorable and relaxing stay."
