House keeping could be better. In 6 days stay we got only one cleaning, so we lived with full bins of trash, ashtrays etc all the time. The bbq zone was pretty much occupied with the events, wich ruined our plans to grill the time we wanted.

As it was late in the season, we were the only guests. Sandra was very helpful and set our breakfast out for us before she had to go out to work. The breakfast was rather unappetising with cheap sliced bread & ham, plentiful, but unappealing.

"Beautiful setting on the outskirts of the city, high on a hill. A place where there is tent camping, spaces for camper vans, and there are rooms available. We had a beautiful room with private bathroom, and shared access to a sitting room, kitchen facilities and terrace. It is self-catering, but the hosts will order bread to be delivered in the morning for you, or they’ll order a pizza delivery in the evening. There is an outdoor cafe/bar. The place is bustling, interesting and entertaining. Lamego is a beautiful city with many interesting buildings."

The shared bathroom could use a renovation (very basic shower with a shower head up on the wall) and the windows in the room were old and should be changed for better isolation. Also, you absolutely need a car as it's a bit far from the bus stop.

There were regular power cuts in the city during our stay (not the hotels fault). The roads outside can be quite noisy at times

"We always enjoy coming back to this hotel. This was already our third stay and definitely not the last. Every time we arrive, we feel a bit like at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. "Odvoz z letiska na ubytovanie nám ponúkli a nasledne zabezpečili z Villa Paradise. Ubytovanie bolo príjemné, každý deň boli upratovane izby a personál bol veľmi milý a úslužný."

Malé mínus je vzdialenosť pláže od Villa Paradise, avšak ak je k dispozícii auto (skúter), je to bezpredmetné.

"The hotel is conviniently located next to the Hashimoto train station. A really convinent stay if you are planning to visit koyasan withoit having to go back to namba station. In addition the town is quiet and calm. The room is spacious and comfortable. Will come back to stay in this room if we are coming back to japan."
