"The super comfy large bed. The lovely terrace. The very helpful. Kind staff. The great breakfast. Also it's proximity to the main thoroughfare and beach. Even though it was near it was very quiet."

"Only criticism I’d have was staff weren’t very on hand, the front desk was manned at only certain times."

"Clean room, friendly staff, great location for restaurants, and a short walk to the beach."

"Good value for money. Compact but functional room with everything needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Smooth check-in. Very helpful staff who also assisted with organizing transportation. Suitable for onward travel."
"The room was not cleaned during my stay, although I did not explicitly request housekeeping after the first day. Hot water was not always available. The curtains also had some stains. The bathroom is quite small, but manageable for a short stay."
"The location of this property is excellent, it is situated down a side road away from traffic noise. It is close to the beach. We stayed here twice and had different rooms, each were ample size. Friendly staff. Quiet Air Con. We booked massage treatments via the staff - we were collected and returned. These treatments were excellent value in a beautiful spa - if you have time, I would recommend booking some treatments - the price list is located by reception."
"This is only a minor thing - A kettle was provided but the electrical sockets were not placed anywhere near the kettle. The lead was short, so we had to balance on our luggage."

"Posizione fantastica in mezzo alla natura scoiattoli che saltano sul terrazzo e a volte anche scimmie e pavoni, esperienza unica, un po’ più nell’entro terra ma va benissimo, era quello che cercavo"

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"
