"The owner was very kind and supportive. She ensured that we were well looked after. Clean house and bed linen and towels were very clean. Hot water is provided throughout the day. Very close to the city. Safe neighbourhood."

"Ideal location. Close proximity to the centre. Excellent hospitality. Very homely stay. Looked after us very well. Very quiet. No disturbances at all. Owners were very kind and down to earth. We will visit them again if we go to Nuwaraeliya. There is room for improvement too."

"Ruime kamers, goede bedden, warm water via boiler (prachtig). Ruime leuke zithoek, op wandelafstand van centrum en Lake Gregory. Topper gezien de ligging en prijs, zelf ondanks enkele minpuntjes.👍😍"

"Geen frigo in de keuken, over het algemeen worden er geen lakens gebruik, dus zelf iets voorzien is nuttig als u dit verkiest, i.p.v. rechtstreeks onder een deken te slapen 🥴"

"The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Great communication, very accommodating, always asking to help, very informative. Room was very clean with lots of amenities. Arranged for drivers from the airport and great location near the beach. Lovely breakfast with stunning views from the roof. Definitely would recommend staying here!"

"Perfect location right on the beach with wonderful views and 3 minutes walk from the train and bus stations so very easy to get to. The beach itself is gorgeous - long stretch of sand, beautiful and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable with AC and a fridge, and you can not only see the sea but you can hear the waves in bed at night! There are shops and restaurants nearby which I didn’t explore as the food at Beach House was great - delicious home cooking. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The owner introduced me to a lovely local tuk tuk driver (Kushan) who took me to all the local sights one day - kayaking on Koggala Lake, visiting the museum and tea plantation etc."

"Comfortable guesthouse backed onto one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. Rooms were clean and of reasonable size, small pool a refreshing addition with multiple patio/seating areas. I was in regular touch with a coordinator from the Kay Jay HQ who was responsive with good English - he helpfully arranged tuks and taxis when there were language barriers with the local team."

"It was quiet, located right next to the beach. You hear only the waves (and the fishermen). Room was spacious, clean and well equipped (though a bit dated). The balcony was huge and cool during the day because of the breeze from the ocean. The garden is nice, with enough lawnchairs and shade spots around the pool. No mosquitos during our stay. You can order dinner that they bring from somewhere else. It was well done (we tried fish, rice and curry, prawns). Helpful and friendly staff."
