"Absolutely gorgeous peaceful Riad away from the hustle and bustle but with easy walking distance to everything. The staff were so welcoming and helpful."
"The bathroom, particularly the shower cubicle was a little on the small side. I just have a thing for shower curtains clinging to me when I'm in the shower!!"
"The riad was very nice : the rooms clean, quiet, the personal super kind, very attentive, we really enjoyed our time here."

"Beautiful Riad and great staff - very kind and helpfull"
"For families, then this is not a full service experience, but very authentic"
"We really enjoyed our stay in Riad Shemsi. From before we arrived, they were very communicative and helped to arrange a pickup from the airport. I would recommend this to all travellers unfamiliar with Marrakesh because it meant we were met where the driver dropped us off and shown to the Riad. Upon arrival we were provided with a lovely mint tea and made to feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and clean and having breakfast every morning was lovely. We took up the offer of having dinner at the Riad on our final night and it was by far the best meal we had in Marrakesh! In terms of the location, it is slightly out of the centre, but it’s still very easy to walk to anywhere in the Medina. We were actually very happy to be in the Kasbah because it felt more calm and quiet than other parts of the Medina!"

"The property is within the walls of the old city and as expected its access is via narrow lanes. The lanes are kept clean. The Riad itself is very well maintained. The staff take good care and guide you with good tips on where to go and what to do. Neighbourhood is quiet and not noisy. Breakfast was really very good with a good mix of Moroccan and continental choices. If I get a chance again, I would definitely stay here again."
"The rooms could do with brighter lights. But that's not a deal breaker for me."
"It was a beautiful tranquil place with friendly staff who went above and beyond."
"There was nothing I did not like"

"Breakfast could be improved by adding some fruit"
"Hamza, the host is very helpful and accommodating. Amy questions or needs he had an answer. The rooftop terrace is lovely to eat breakfast and dinner on."

"The riad is traditional and beautifully decorated. The rooftop pool is lovely. The reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. I'd booked the stay for a friend's birthday and they'd organised Moroccan tea and cake. Beds are comfortable and the room we stayed in was quiet."
Avis de Jenny Riad & Spa Bahia Salam
"The riad is beautiful and very authentic, with a calm and elegant atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, right in the heart of the medina but still quiet. The spa and common areas were especially relaxing, and breakfast was delicious. A very special thanks to Ismail, who was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help us with everything. He made us feel truly welcome, was always kind and professional."
Avis de Asim Riad Maison Bleue and Spa
"Beautiful Riad, comfortable bed and lovely rooftop where a delicious fresh breakfast was served. Staff very friendly and served complimentary tea on arrival. Far enough from the medina to escape the chaos and noise for a bit but close enough that you can walk there (20min walk to jamma elfna square) to explore the souks. Lovely rooftop bar right next door to the riad if you want an alcoholic drink at sunset."
