"I was in a small room with two bunk beds. There was only two of us but if there had been 4 people it would have been very crowded. The kitchen was good, with free tea and coffee . Bathroom was OK, with plenty of hot water."

"So relaxing. Lovely comfortable elevated lounge area to see the sunset or watch TV. Staff so friendly and efficient. Can you believe I left my airpods there and the manager bought them to Windhoek . Ok she was coming anyway but still amazingly kind and efficient. Thank you."

"The hotel is really good, the beds are very comfortable and also they have a very good breakfast. But this is nothing compared with the staff. Charlie and Ben are sooo kind and helpful. They helped me a lot with my trip, giving me advice for any single thing I asked them for.. i will repeat when I come back to swakop Also, it's a nice place to meet people to join for a tour if you are a solo traveller. Very very recommended. 10/10"

"Ghaub is an exceptional property, situated in its own nature conservatory and on the site of an old mission. There is a lot of history in the property, accompanied by an old graveyard and rock etchings dating back to some of the earlier San inhabitants. Take the opportunity and go for long, relatively easy walks and you will be rewarded with a multitude of wildlife sightings of virtually every kind. Accommodation is in three blocks of farmhouse-style rooms, surrounded by large airy verandas, lovely to enjoy with a long, cold drink. There are also three seemingly well appointed campsites for those wanting to brave a slightly wilder accommodation option. Certainly a property we will return to time and time again."
