"Everything went smoothly from the start — we were greeted by a smiling and friendly lady, and the check-in was quick and easy. The apartment exceeded our expectations: it was spotlessly clean, well-organized, and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the atmosphere felt cozy — just like home. We really enjoyed our time here and felt completely at ease. "Handy for a one night stay. A 500m or so walk to facilities. Foz is a very interesting beach and laid back. Easy check in and out. Restaurants a short walk."

"Maybe one should get more precise information on booking com about the room sizes. In the beginning we were in a very small double room. However, thanks to the outrageous friendliness and customer orientation of the owner we could upgrade from a 7m2 double room to a really very comfortable huge double room."

"The area is really good, you can find shops close to casa do miguel. Calm area, you can walk to the bakery, restaurants, cafes.... and you also can walk to the beach where all the pubs are. It's beautiful. Beautiful place, beautiful lagoon. Foz do arelho is a beautiful place you can stay for holidays. And miguel house is very nice. The owners are very friendly and nice. I will go back, for sure."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
