"I arrived in Kibuye and first had lunch with Jean-Paul, the owner of the campsite. After that we went to a local market and bought some food for dinner and for the breakfast the next morning. Then we took a really beautiful boat ride across Lake Kivu to the quiet and isolated place where the campsite is located. The campsite has a very nice garden with mango trees, eucalyptus trees and even coffee plants. Two members of the staff helped us carry the luggage and also helped with preparing the food. The tent I slept in was very comfortable and the whole place felt very calm and well taken care of. What makes this place special is mainly the peaceful atmosphere and the amazing view over Lake Kivu. In the evening you can watch the fishermen out on the water, and in the morning there are many birds and you wake up with all the sounds of nature. I would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone who visits Rwanda."

Deborah and Dunier are taking care of their guests like family, while Dunier surprised us each morning and evening with delicious dishes. Ocne you arrive, you‘re immediately ‚part of the gang‘, which does not only consist of mentioned people, but also the dogs Brianna and Ambush, as well as many goats and sheep whose names I was not able to memorize ;) The rooms are furnished with love and care and beds are super comfortable. The view from this little hill on the peninsula is stunning. Hope to come back"

The National stadium is 4 minutes walk, You can see the runways of the internatinal airport from the first floor. "The location is lovely, plenty of restaurants, coffee places, art & craft shops nearby in pretty Kimihurura neighborhood. My room was nice with own bathroom, warm shower and big private balcony on top of the restaurant area. The property is mainly a restaurant with some rooms for a few guests but I did not mind the music or noise in the evenings, it is not overly disturbing since it is not a night club and by 11 pm it was mostly quiet. Also during day time the restaurant was quiet so I felt comfortable to enjoy the pool and sun beds. I tried their pizza, ravioli and burger, and all were delicious."
