Hotel Rival, umiestnený v módnej a bohémskej štvrti mesta Štokholm - Södermalm, ponúka výhľad na krásne námestie Mariatorget lemované stromami. Bývalá hviezda skupiny Abba Benny Andersson a jeho partneri zrekonštruovali a zrenovovali taktiež kino v štýle Art Deco s červeným zamatom z 30. rokov minulého storočia. Výsledkom je dnes nový živý zasadací komplex, kde nechýba ani koktailový bar v štýle Art Deco, bistro, kaviareň, pekáreň, konferenčné miestnosti a salón pre 700 osôb. Veľkolepé točité schodisko vedie k živej adresaovej reštaurácii. Nádherné bistro v sídloi Rival ponúka tradičné švédske jedlo a hotelová kaviareň podáva rôzne druhy kávy a veľký výber vín. Na drink si môžete sadnúť do elegantného koktailového baru. Zďaleka nejde o štandardný rezort, o čom svedčia jedinečné detaily, ako napríklad nalakované oranžové steny, tkané koberce Kasthall a matné dubové podlahy. Niektoré izby majú ružové stoličky, oranžový gauč, červené kožené pohovky a bodkované tienidlá na lampy. Každá izba je vyzdobená scénou z klasického švédskeho filmu a nájdete v nej luxusnú egyptskú bavlnenú posteľnú bielizeň a TV s plochou obrazovkou. "Fantastic stay, staff are always really friendly, welcoming and considerate, the hotel itself is lovely and in a great area of Stockholm. It's now our go-to whenever we go back to Sweden. Breakfast is included and till late on the weekends and well worth having. Rooms have a lovely vibe to them and features like the curated selection of CDS and DVDs, the heated floor and speaker in the bathroom and integrated iron in the cupboard are a few small examples of the level detail and consideration that's reflected across the hotel. We have also eaten in the ground floor restaurant and the lobby bar all of which were great."

"Hotel located in a charming area, with a theater and a bar at the entrance that give it a very special atmosphere. The staff is young, friendly, and always helpful. One night I spilled tea on the bed, and the cleaning lady, Claudia, kindly came to change the sheets; she was very polite and attentive. I recommend it to everyone: it is a hotel full of charm, where you can truly feel the Swedish cinematic culture. The breakfast is varied and of excellent quality."

"A warm reception greeted us on arrival and staff went out of their way to recommend and book good local restaurants - all of which were excellent and within walking distance. The hotel was very well located being a fifteen minute walk from the interesting Gamla Stan. We all enjoyed relaxing in the stylish comfortable bar areas and there were excellent well presented breakfast buffet choices"
