"The room was spacious and well equipped with kettle, fridge and wardrobe. We have found these lacking in some places we have stayed. Our room had a large patio with nice seating and we enjoyed sitting out after a busy day in the heat. It was a good breakfast and the food in the evening was also very good ."

"We booked 2 rooms in Old Tree’s House and the place is exceptional. We stayed in 2 beautiful, cozy, and comfortable bungalows with a terrace in the midst of a lovely garden. The view and the atmosphere were so relaxing that we extended our stay. Nid, the owner, is a lovely lady, speaks very good English, and very helpful. She is also an excellent cook so we went to the market with her in the morning and brought fresh fish and vegetables and then had an amazing dinner cooked by the owner. The hotel is located about 600m from Tha ton town center/boat pier. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Tha ton."

"Lovely, small, secluded resort just 500m from Tha Ton bridge. The owner, Nid, was really helpful. She picked us up from the bus station, advised on good places to eat in town and booked our onward travel by boat to Chiang Rai. The bungalow was lovely with large patio beside a swimming pool. We only stayed a night but it was a great place to relax and we wished we'd stayed longer! The freshly cooked breakfast was great with beautiful views over the valley."

"I like the glass windows but however under the bed is not clean and needs a hover the sofas are really old the balcony has loads of bird poop so can not open the door to cool down the room heat the pictures are so much better then what it really is like in person. 1 to 10 I would give it a 5."

"The location was great - beautiful views ofc but also proximity to Thongsala. The restaurant and the pool is accessible to public, but it was usually very empty, The food and drinks are kind of pricy but the staff is chill, you don't have to order anything as the hotel guest. The food was really good though and everything is vegan. They provide food for stray dogs, so there are always some dogs and their mission is to take care of animals in general which gives a really nice vibe."

"I stayed here for 2 nights then came back later that week for an extra day. The staff were really pleasant and friendly. Clean rooms and an excellent area at the front of the hotel, open planned to eat breakfast or relax and the view to the beach and the sea opposite. The only fault was the bathroom, im tall,the shower head very low and the water would run onto the bathroom floor, you couldn't avoid it,no matter how much you tried to be careful. But it was still a great place to stay."

"It is a cozy hotel located in majority Muslim area. The room wasn't very big, but bed was comfortable. Though the booking didn't indicate breakfast, there was a small place where they provided some breakfast food, yogurt, milk, bread, butter and jam, also some instant noodles and a coffee/tea/hot chocolate."
