"My sister & I stayed 4 nights here! 😍 We loved that… it was great value for money,… there’s a shop downstairs that opened 7 days till late… The location was awesome, right next to DMC, Vailoa, (the best fried chicken franchise on the island 😋)… the twin room was clean, and spacious with 2 x twin beds, sofa lounge, a balcony with clothes airer, a wardrobe, massive shower with hot water, toiletries & towels, kitchen sink with utilities, Tea/Coffee facilities, Aircon & free WiFi…and… The host, (Teresa), was very friendly & welcoming, always willing & present to help out when needed. 😃"

The only issue, was the accommodation is upstairs and carrying heavy luggage upstairs was a little challenging, otherwise, it was excellent value for money. 👍

"Very cosy apartment in a quiet location. Well-equipped kitchenette Easy parking in the nearby street Shops are available within a few minutes drive time."

There is only one power socket in the sleeping room, and it does not work (well) as the holes are too loose to uphold any charging device. A multi-socket cable connected to a repaired socket would be appreciated. In the kitchenette, there is some coffee and tea provided, much appreciated. Oddly, there is no sugar but salt. Sugar would be more useful than salt.

"Very cozy, yet modern cabin. Very clean. Friendly staff and easy to check in. We had a great stay!"

Weird smell coming from the kitchen cupboards under the sink.

"The host and hostess were very kind and helped us check in almost close to midnight. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple and clean."

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

"Prenádherná príroda , krásne upravený resort. Ubytovanie čisté, moderné a výborne vybavené. Dve terasy s posedením. Raňajky a večere viacchodové a počas víkendu formou švédskych stolov. V reštaurácii ponúkala aj obedy s príjemnou obsluhou. Personál milý a ochotný. Využili sme ponuku masáže -bola vynikajúca. V saune sme zažili šou, ktorá bola veľmi príjemná. (ďakujeme pánovi Imrovi a celému personálu). Určite sa vrátime."

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

La sig.ra Gina incarna l'ospitalità e l'accoglienza che ogni ospite desidera ricevere; empatica e mai invadente, generosa nel donarsi, attenta e cordiale. Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. "Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.

"The accommodation was clean and fresh, Location was quiet with plenty of local restaurants, and a few local shops to get basic groceries. We hired a car during our stay which is recommended if you want to further a field as we did ."

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."
