We had some problems with the door that never worked for the whole stay but the reception staff was helpful

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

"On arrival 'Grandad' greeted us with a smile and a cup of 'ginger tea' 😊 The location is peaceful and on the edge of the forest. Only 15mins walking to seven eleven, shops, etc. The room was comfy and clean. Good value too. Bed was super comfy soft to firm! Easy to safely store our bicycles 🚴🚴 A great place to visit and Grandad may also show you around his collection of antiques. HIGHLY recommended 👌"

"The name "Cozy" suites was choosen well because its veeery cozy there, like a second home. We slept there for more than 3 weeks and it was the best accomondation we had in the philippines. The price is also unbeatable for what you get. Also a very nice area close to the mountains if you dont like big citys. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back the next time we visit negros."

The Wifi didnt worked sometimes but thats no problem with a tourist sim card

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "Location near the sea and grocery store. Found also a home bakery nearby. Beautiful, a bit rustic town under pine trees. Sandy beach and lot of quiet streets to discover. Appartment was warm, nice, and had all the basic things. Lovely yard."

There was no bed sheet for the second bed (sofa), and when we opened the sofa, there was sand from the previous visitors. The hosts reacted to our request and it was cleaned. Some other tiny issues - only 2 mugs in the cupboard (4 glasses), and the 3rd cup was found on the floor of shower room. We missed washing up liquid and kitchen towels too.

He really takes care of his guests in every way and makes sure, you‘re always taken good care of. I can also recommend this place as very safe for solo female travelers. The food is authentic, home cooked and super tasty. It’s just a really lovely and welcoming family :)"
