"Rooms are lovely. Well equipped and beautifully decorated. Beautiful bathroom too. And a great view from the balcony. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both excellent and I enjoyed a great conversation with Mamá Hilda after dinner and in the morning too. There are quite a lot of activities available to do in Chugchilán. I would have enjoyed to stay 2 or 3 nights there just to relax instead of only an overnight stay during the Quilotoa Loop."

"Wonderful service. Stefania was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, everything was very clean, and the place where you can warm up by the fireplace and enjoy a hot tea or a glass of wine 😉 is fantastic."

"The name might be a little misleading, you are the personal guest of a local family, which will give you a warm welcome and let you have more comfort than they afford themselves. At the family table next to a warm stove I got a wonderful dinner and breakfast with mostly homegrown vegetables from their own fields. Rooms are simple, but clean, have a comfortable matress, very warm sheets and there's a hot shower. It is an honor to be a guest here!"
