"We celebrated a birthday here and the owner and staff were absolutely lovely, joining in making the evening a memorable one. Rooms were comfortable, clean and the showers were great. Food was delicious. It is a peaceful place which felt like a little gem off the beaten track."

The apartment is right in the middle of town, cafés and bakeries are everywhere, the host is extremely accommodating and easy to deal with, the apartment had a great kitchen, large bathroom, comfortable beds, and everything else you could possibly ever want. "It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."

Malé mínus je vzdialenosť pláže od Villa Paradise, avšak ak je k dispozícii auto (skúter), je to bezpredmetné.

The reception was almost never occupied, and the person on the indicated phone number did not speak English. So checking in and paying was a bit tricky. Internet is a bit slow for working, but OK. Also, mind that you may need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

Breakfast was mildly dissapointing.

"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.
