Dream station hostel

"Great place. I stayed here 3 times on my South Laos trip. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Just letting you know limited space in front of the hostel if you are planning to arrive on a motorbike. Very good location, relatively close to the river and night market."

"The internet is very slow, unfortunately.. I know it's a hostel, but I stayed in over 200 hostels in the past years and 99% of the time wifi was good. So they need to improve that."

"Located in a very good area, close to many things. Beds are surprisingly big and very comfortable. The locker is huge. Staff are friendly and kind. Great value for money! Front of the hostel the space is limited so keep this in mind when you want to arrive on a motorbike."

"The beds were super clean & comfy. THE STAFF were so kind! Always asked how my day was which I found so sweet and did everything they could to help. If they didn’t understand they’d use google translate - always going the extra mile. They also provide cotton buds which is the first time I’ve seen that whilst travelling so very nice. Good WiFi & free water refill. They can organise ongoing transport for you."

"My curtain rail fell down whilst I was sleeping and then another fell down in the morning so seems to be a common occurrence? They re-attached mine for me whilst I was out though. They have a balcony area to chill but I think it’s only accessible via the female-only dorm. They said I was able to use it despite staying in mixed but I’m not sure males would be able to. It would be good if they emailed / messaged the door code before arrival as I arrived early and couldn’t get in. The location is central but down a back alley. I was completely fine with this but sometimes you can get in your own head and spook yourself ."

"There was a cute cat and it was nice looking and the hostel was mostly clean"

"The drains smelt and the mosquitos were a problem and the kitchen applications were dated and we felt uncomfortable using them as we kept getting stared at and we had to unplug other devices to be able to use the microwave we also had to fight for space to use the fridge and I’m sure it wasn’t from other guests"

"I stayed in the female dormitory, which was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful—they even booked my bus ticket and arranged a drop-off at the station for my trip to Vientiane. I also booked the Bolaven Plateau tour through them, which was well organised and convenient."

"The air-conditioning control was not in the dorm room, and the setting was left on “humid,” making the night uncomfortably damp and warm. I even tried calling the staff by phone because no one was at reception, but no one picked up—it was too humid to sleep. The next day, after I mentioned it in person, they promptly gave me the remote so I could switch it to the cool setting, and the following night was much better. They could consider a more permanent solution to keep the room cool for future guests."

"This hostel had such a nice chilled out vibe, super clean and new. The staff were definitely the highlight though, they were so attentive and helpful with any questions we had. The beds are little cubicles so super private. Definitely a great spot to chill out for some r&r!"

"Staff is really nice! Beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Payed a little extra for a nice breakfest. Asked if I could do my laundry, staff actually delivered my laundry to a laundromat and picked it up for me. Great hostel!"

"If I would have to say 1 'negative' point it would be that there is not a lot of space for your bags in the room. But they have space for that right outside the room!"

"Se potessi darò ancora un voto più alto, ostello pulito, the, acqua e banana a disposizione, ma soprattutto la gentilezza dei proprietari che fanno di tutto per poterti aiutare! Ho affittato tramite loro il motorino e potuto lasciare lo zaino per far il bolaven plateau e mi hanno anche aiutato con il bgt per lo sleeping bus! Assolutamente consigliato!!!"
