Unfortunately there were a few minor issues when we arrived, that eventually got sorted. Given the circumstances of the week prior & sending our condolences to the family, I'm not surprised things were a little off the mark. A broom in the unit be great to keep the floors free of bugs & dirt. We still loved our stay regardless.

"A wonderful small house in a quiete place. Not a big one but equipped very well with all necessary kitchen appliances including a dishwasher. There is also a nice terrace outside with a barbeque place. Everything was very clean, the house is very cozy"

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"This place is simply amazing, what stands out is the attention to detail and the magical garden with pool. Highly recommend it for you nature lovers. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking space, a bakery and exquisite french restaurant just around the corner. Pro tip: watch your step when going to the pool, turtles are sometimes patroling the area."

The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"Staff went above and beyond to make our stay for my birthday a wonderful experience. Hotel was in the perfect location for ease of access to the train station and the town itself. Amenities were clean and room was spacious."

Overall the decor and energy of the hotel felt a bit dated but not a massive complaint that would stop me from booking again in the future as there was more positives to outweigh the aesthetic.

"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.

"I loved the calmness, convenient location and very supportive team. Cyril made sure I had the best experience in Victoria falls. He also helped me with all my activities and recommended great places for me to eat at or visit. The place was great with all that I needed, fully equipped kitchen, delicious breakfast etc.I will add my ink and voice to the rest of the travellers to say this hideout is highly recommended. Thank you Cyril and Team. I made it safely Back to Uganda and will ensure you have more visitors from Uganda 😃"
