"Haiko is a wonderful person who welcomed us upon arrival at the lodge and provided us with excellent directions to the island's beaches and restaurants/bars. The property is strategically located for reaching both the stunning northern beaches and Arikok National Park. We appreciated the lush vegetation surrounding the lodges and the chirping birds that accompanied us during breakfast. Each lodge respects privacy and is equipped with all the amenities, making it a delightful stay."

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

Nothing - I do not have a bad word to say about Long Lee. It exceeded our expectations and more.

"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"We spent the first night of our round trip through the north-west of Argentina here. It was a great start. Claudia gave us a very warm welcome. She speaks good English. The cabana was lovingly furnished and we felt at home. We cooked dinner in the evening and had breakfast on the small terrace next to the entrance in the morning. The gardens are well worth a visit! "We were generously upgraded to the Langakali house from the Heilala initially booked at no extra charge. This worked out perfect having the extra bathroom. The house was easily accessible on our arrival with overall good communication from the renters. Nina was beautiful and did countless loads of washing for us with no hesitation included in the accomodation price. Green Lodge is close proximity to town and our families village so was a prime location for us. Screens on doors and windows were a plus, coils and basic toiletries and essentials were provided and ample storage throughout. A quiet area that felt very safe. Style of the house is older, but comfortable enough, we felt at home being here."

Although screens were throughout, you will still need repellent and extra coils. The ensuite bathroom toilet wouldn’t always flush properly and the wifi wasn’t working. It would be a plus to have one more fan in the third bedroom of the Langakali house and

"Beautiful place. We stayed with family in three different rooms. Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms. The ladies that clean the hotel were very nice. We got there early, left our things in a locker and went to flamenco beach and returned to access our rooms by a door code. The room was amazing with a small kitchen with kitchen utensils, towels and beach towels. The rooms had great air conditioner and there was a constant breeze outside that we could enjoy the balcony as well. I think the room Was even more spacious than the website pictures. ☺️"

"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

Nothing: We actually didn’t book the transfers cause we had another vehicle organised however that fell through. But mama let us go first to the lodge and she’d wait at the airport. Lucky she got a ride back home from the family at airport. She has an immense amount of responsibility and knowledge of the island. As a local to Rarotonga people like her are very rare to be around. I am so grateful to have had crossed paths with her. Na te Atua I tauturu iakoe e Mama Manarangi. Maroiroi koe I toou oraanga. Meitaki atupaka kiakoe no te akonoanga ia tatou.

"If you want a peaceful, calm and stunning environment, this is the place. It is simple, but has everything you need in a beautiful setting. Perfect for nature lovers who don't want to be on top of other guests."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.
