"Die Besitzerin ist ausgesprochen nett und spricht gut englisch. Wir hatten viele interessante Gespräche mit ihr und sie hat sich immer viel Zeit genommen, auch um uns sehr kompetente Tipps für unsere Unternehmungen zu geben. Yami ist die Seele des Ortes und hat unseren Aufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht. Der Garten ist ein Traum, wir hatten warme Duschen und liebevoll lokal eingerichtete Zimmer. Auch das Frühstück war gut und man kann unkompliziert die Küche benutzen."

"Super nette, gastfreundliche Eigentümer. Sehr familiär, schöner Garten. Geben sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Unterstützen bei allem was nur möglich ist. Zentrale Lage um viele archäologische Stätten und Trekking Touren durchzuführen. Wer Peru ganz nah und ohne den Tourismus erleben möchte, sollte hier hin kommen. Bei Wunsch kann auch Frühstück, Essen oder Wäsche Service hinzugefügt werden. Wir waren eine Woche hier und würden jederzeit wieder kommen."

"Hotellet ligger skønt, tæt på bjerge og med en dejlig stor have og stadig med gåafstand til byen. Yame er en super sød og god vært."

"Todo fue muy bien: Las sábanas y almohadas frescas. Buen colchón. Buena iluminación. Hermoso jardín. El joven que atendía muy amable. La mascota de la familia muy mimosita (la gata). Todo bien. Para llegar sólo ubicar la Av. Torrechayoc en Urubamba (también conocida como Pisagua) y caminar hacia arriba de frente por esa vía sin desviarse. A pie, caminando te tomará unos 30 minutos. Pero si no estás acostumbrado a la altura, eres adulto mayor o vas con niños mejor tomar un Mototaxi que te puede cobrar unos cuatro a cinco soles."

"Great historical hotel with authentic decoration, plenty of photos and information about the history of Iquitos and very welcoming and helpful staff. We stayed as a family of four in a large and very comfortable room. It is located right by the riverside, has a balcony and large common areas. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff, especially Francisco, were very helpful and friendly, always doing their very best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It is an old building in need of constant maintenance, and of course, there are details which are work in progress but that didn´t impact the comfort of our stay in any way. We highly recommend and certainly will come back."

"Everything! All the properties I stayed in Latin America are old so that is no issue to me. I like the vintagy style. I had a huge room, nice bathroom and on the ground floor. It has a nice inner yard and an adorable kitty greeted me at the door! The owner and his family is super friendly and I met some nice people too. The location awas great and I believe it was a great value for money. I would definately go back given the chance!"

"The location is a bit far, maybe a 8 minute walk to the plaza, but it’s a really great hostel. I stayed there for over 2 months. The views of the city from the roof are really incredible and the owners are nice and accommodating. Raul even lent me a guitar for the duration of my stay. There’a a kitchen you can use and a nice little garden that you can relax in."

"We stayed one night in this wonderful location hosted by Celso family. He waited for us at the small harbour and guided to the house. After an amazing luncch, he explained us some history and tradition of the island through a walking tour up&down with amazing view and a relaxing atmosphere. Really recommended"
