"When I checked in, there was a large group of people having dinner together. They came from different countries, and they warmly invited me to join them. We were all like old friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time, and it felt wonderful."

"There are many small bars nearby, but the rooms are completely quiet because the hostel is tucked away in a small box, so there aren't many people passing by. The beautiful Mekong River is just 20 meters away."

"I stayed near Patuxai in Laos for about a week before coming here. Actually, there's nothing much around Patuxai. I had to take a taxi to the Mekong River every day, and I ended up finding that the taxi fare was more expensive than the accommodation. So I think this place is more convenient."

"Staying here is very convenient; there are restaurants, massage parlors, and supermarkets all around. The Mekong River and night market are right outside the door. I also checked the hotels next door, and they were all around $100 a night. I only spent $5 but enjoyed the same hotel location – I think it's a great deal.
